Sorrow Beyond Dreams

An autobiography where the author confronts his own life as a child of post-war Germany and his mother's life and death. In a painful and courageous attempt to deal with the almost intolerable horror of her suicide, he sets out to piece together the facts of her life, as she might have seen them.
